My name is Autumn Conzone; I am currently an undergraduate student at SUNY Oneonta, working on completing my degree in the fashion design and textile program. While completing my degree, I was recognized on the Dean’s List multiple times for my exemplary academic performance. The courses at SUNY Oneonta have allowed me to hone my design and apparel construction skills and become multi-faceted in applications, including Adobe Illustrator and PhotoShop, Microsoft 365, and WordPress.
I have several years of retail experience as a sales assistant and stylist at White House Black Market and T.J.Maxx. Additionally, I sell thrifted and handmade garments on my online store through Depop. Selling clothing online has drastically developed and refined my descriptive fashion vocabulary and given me the skills to style and create engaging eye-catching looks. My work experience has taught me how crucial customer service is within the fashion industry.
My Fashion Journalism and Marketing Courses have taught me how crucial it is to meet deadlines and the importance of following criteria and meeting expectations in the fashion Industry. Key takeaways include creating a Shopping Page, News Report, Catwalk Review, Styling, and Photoshoot. Additionally, I have learned the promotion and advertising tactics required for a successful business in this industry.
My other work includes fashion design and illustration. I have evolved my traditional and digital illustrations through my Fashion Illustration and Computer Integrated Fashion Design classes. I have obtained advanced craftsmanship skills in many different mediums of apparel from my Innovation in Wearable Arts course. Collectively, these classes have enhanced my skills and developed my creative style.
